Andrew Boal was born in Pennsylvania in 1979. From an early age both artistic and equestrian pursuits captured a majority of his attention. While growing up on the East Coast he consistenly embraced a dream of living "Out West." Andrew followed this dream by spending the summers of his teenage years working on the Breteche Creek Ranch in Northwest Wyoming. He went on to attend the University of Colorado, receiving a B.A. in History. Andrew wouldn't call his artwork "a form of expression." Instead, it is more of a recorded history of his life's experiences. Nearly all of his paintings are of a friend or loved one, be it human or equine. It is a passion which he feels fortunate to be able to share with the rest of the world. Andrew Boal is a farrier by trade and lives in Boulder, Colorado. He continues to paint and credits much of his inspiration to his fiance, D'Ann.
